Income Plan – 1 year vision. Do Yours!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Income is what we need, not a j-o-b.  There are many ways to earning an income and if what you earn does not support your lifestyle, then rather than fund it on debt; earn more![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!” (author unknown).  I know you have heard this one before.  Here’s another, “If you have no targets, expect  no measurable results.”  Trudy Beerman.  An income plan is a must if you intend wealth.

[tweet_box]”If you have no targets, expect no measurable results.” Trudy Beerman [/tweet_box] Do you have an income plan?  If not, it’s a good time to start.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Your lifestyle has a price tag.  Can you afford it?   If your income is less than what you insist on spending, then you my friend, have adopted debt as a friend.  However, this friend is really a ‘frenemy’.  Not too long after obtaining the thing you want with the easy slide of a card, or a quick signature to a loan, the true cost of that thing shows up in stress, more debt, and possibly even ruined relationships that send you into a spiral of depression.  Let me suggest you STOP living on the MINUS side of ZERO!

Instead of using debt to finance your life, take a look at those regular expenses, add them all up and whatever the shortfall is, that is the minimum target for your income increase.  SIMPLE!

For example, if you regularly need an extra $200 to cover things like getting your nails done, and going out on a date once per month, then you need to find a way to EARN the extra $200.  You must first KNOW what the shortfall is to have a target for the income increase.  If you do this, you will be living AT ZERO, where income in = money spent out.

Where are you on the Income Line?

Life beyond zero

Of course, I am advocate for living on the PLUS  SIDE OF ZERO; or in other words, living BELOW your income, if the ultimate goal is wealth and financial freedom.

That means, you should bump up that extra income plan by that much extra so that you have the amount for wealth expansion strategies.

So once you have a target income, now you need strategy to accomplish it.  I am not one for encouraging punching another clock and being away from your loved ones for that much more as a strategy for income increase, but sometimes that is necessary – and hopefully, short-term.  So maybe you take a holiday gig, or you moonlight when the family is in bed- but absence from relationships is a huge reason for failures of the best love, so be careful of this strategy.

Thank you3[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]There are many strategies for income expansion and some may require you to set pride aside for the greater good, some require you to get your hustle on, and some require you to simply find your voice and speak up.  All require you to TAKE ACTION!  So sorry, but wishing has never on its own made money appear except in fairy tales.  Wishing is good, but put action to that wish and move it from the thought realm, to the realm of reality.

Here are a few to get your mind jogging:

  • bump your hobby into a true income stream
  • join an affordable, turn-key operation, like a Network Marketing opportunity.  Here is one that I am a part of for you to consider joining my team
  • write a book
  • create an online or offline course that you charge to teach
  • sign up with a temp agency
  • become an affiliate and resell cool stuff on your blog
  • sell ad space on your blog (you need a good following or clear niche for this to be attractive to those willing to spend $)

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but I hope it got you thinking.

If you need help, I am super simple to find and ready to help.  My specialty is profitable stewardship (aka, Biblical management), that creates debt-free wealth.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
