What My YouTube Growth Taught Me About Attention, Authority, and Alignment

Data reported for March 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026.

I Didn’t Always Show Up Like This

There was a time when showing up consistently felt uncomfortable.

Not because I did not have something to say, but because I questioned whether it would matter… whether anyone would listen… whether I was too late.

If you have ever felt that, you are not alone.

Many experts carry deep knowledge but hesitate to step into visibility.

And yet, visibility is what allows that knowledge to serve others.

What Happened Last Month

Last month, I uploaded 20 videos to my personal YouTube channel.

These numbers are not just data points to me.

They represent people who chose to lean in, listen, and stay connected.

What I Noticed About Authority

Something important stood out.

The views were not the highest I have ever seen.

But the subscriber growth was strong.

That told me something deeper was happening.

People were not just consuming content.

They were connecting with the message… and with me.

This is where authority begins.

Authority is not built on visibility alone. It is built on resonance.

The Difference Between Being Seen and Being Chosen

It is possible to be seen and still be overlooked.

It is possible to post consistently and still feel invisible.

The difference is not effort.

The difference is alignment.

When your message is clear, your voice is consistent, and your intention is rooted in service, people recognize it.

And when they recognize it, they choose to stay.

Why I Continue to Show Up

I do not show up because I am guaranteed a result.

I show up because I have something that can serve.

There is a difference.

When your focus is only on outcomes, it becomes easy to stop when the numbers are not what you hoped.

But when your focus is on impact, consistency becomes a natural response.

The Alignment That Sustains It

“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” – Colossians 3:2

This verse reminds me where my focus belongs.

Not on the metrics.
Not on the comparison.
Not on the outcome.

But on the assignment.

When I focus on serving the audience in front of me, I create differently.

I am not chasing attention. I am stewarding it.

And in that posture:

Money becomes a reward, not the reason.

What This Means for You

If you have been holding back, waiting until everything feels perfect, consider this:

The people you are meant to serve cannot hear what you have not said.

Your expertise has value.

Your voice carries weight.

But only if it is expressed.

Your Next Step

You do not need to have everything figured out.

You do not need to wait until you feel ready.

You need to begin showing up with intention.

Start where you are.

Say what you know.

Serve who you can.

And allow your authority to be built through consistent, aligned action.
